Johnson Health Tech is hiring a full-time Copywriter in Cottage Grove, WI to shape content strategy and copy across its global consumer fitness brands, including BowFlex, Schwinn, Horizon, and JRNY. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this non-supervisory role spans print and digital channels, performance marketing, and digital fitness experiences. Role Summary

As Copywriter, you will set the content strategy and messaging tone for print and digital assets that support multiple brands. You’ll develop copy for websites, e-commerce, performance marketing, social, email, product launches, packaging, and video/TV scripts. The role requires close collaboration with marketing, sales, and product teams; consistent brand stewardship across touchpoints; and hands-on project management using Asana. Up to 5% domestic travel is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative And Brand Voice: Drive brainstorming, define tone/style/voice, develop concepts and refine collateral, test messaging, and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.
• Website And E-Commerce: Craft messaging for the full path to purchase; produce copy for multiple branded e-commerce sites; continually improve content for performance goals, AI-assisted optimization, and SEO.
• Digital Marketing: Write social content, build email strategies with Creative and Performance Marketing, lead concepts and scripts for online video and linear TV, and support paid/earned/owned channels including search and affiliate requests.
• Product And Service Support: Develop product positioning and feature/benefit copy; elevate retail presence via packaging and POP messaging; recommend naming for series/models/features; refine AI-generated content for digital fitness experiences; improve member communications for subscription retention and engagement.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects, gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders, and streamline workflows using Asana to meet timelines.
• Additional Support: Contribute technical product writing and proofing, assist with PowerPoint content, and tackle other projects as needed.

Ideal Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or Journalism.
• Experience: 3+ years as a copywriter; agency background a plus; proven work across consumer-facing print and digital; script writing and concept development; awareness of SEO best practices; understanding of Meta, Google, email, and related channels.
• Tools And Methods: Familiarity with AI content tools and workflows; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to inform content strategy and execution.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience with fitness or wellness content is a plus.
• Skills: Meticulous editing and attention to detail; strong organization; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Tech: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on Mac or PC.
• Travel: Up to 5% domestic travel.
