Ivalua is hiring an Account Executive to drive new enterprise customer acquisition across the Midwest. Role Summary
Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Account Executive will focus on winning net-new enterprise logos across verticals in the Midwest region. You will build and manage your pipeline, engage senior executives (including public sector stakeholders), and quarterback internal resources to advance strategic deals. Accuracy in forecasting and maintaining the sales system of record are core to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle to exceed annual new-business targets.
- Develop enterprise account plans and drive execution to measurable outcomes.
- Prospect, qualify, and build a healthy pipeline across greenfield accounts in the Midwest.
- Engage C-level and public sector executives with a clear value proposition and business outcomes focus.
- Orchestrate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to build customer strategy plans and proposals.
- Deliver tailored executive sales proposals and maintain accurate forecasts (benchmark ±10%).
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years of direct enterprise software sales experience (SaaS/Cloud).
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Procurement or supply chain domain knowledge and ability to sell business value to the enterprise.
- Experience prospecting into greenfield accounts and executing structured account planning.
- Ability to uncover strategic pains and craft compelling value propositions with financial rigor.
- Strong communicator with executive presence; effective in team-selling environments and at all org levels.
- Preferred university degree in Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
Base salary range: $97,500–$162,500 USD, with an uncapped commission plan as part of a competitive compensation package. Salary may vary based on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement with company match, and more. This is a hybrid role (three days in office weekly) based in Chicago, IL.
