Intuit’s QuickBooks U.S. Marketing team is hiring a Principal Product Marketing Manager to drive growth for its Online Payments business. This individual contributor role sits within the broader Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) and partners deeply across product, sales, and finance to improve customer outcomes and business performance.

Role Summary
As Principal Product Marketing Manager, you will shape strategy and execution for QuickBooks Online Payments. The role requires strong problem solving, data-driven decision making, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a matrixed organization. You will translate insights into go-to-market plans, inform roadmap decisions, and report to the PMM Leader for QuickBooks Payments. Expect broad exposure, meaningful cross-functional leadership, and accountability for measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth of the QuickBooks Payments business in partnership with Sales, Product, Risk, Pricing, and Finance.
- Identify and test monetization and pricing strategies that scale revenue and customer value.
- Partner with Business Development on third-party co-innovation to unlock new distribution channels.
- Dive into customer and product experiences to identify GTM motions that accelerate adoption and retention.
- Act as the conduit between Payments and other GBSG and Intuit teams to align priorities, progress, and outcomes.
- Develop research and testing plans; analyze data from multiple sources to produce insights, business cases, and improved end-to-end experiences.
- Leverage storytelling, customer insights, and business acumen to influence the product roadmap and execute impactful GTM plans across the product life cycle.
- Contribute to three-year strategic planning with a portfolio-wide customer focus.
Ideal Profile
- 10+ years in product marketing, strategy and business operations, management consulting, or strategic roles in high-growth settings.
- Payments or Merchant Services experience strongly desired; understanding of payment systems and money movement is a plus.
- Proven leadership influencing cross-functional teams and building trust in a matrixed organization.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate plans into actionable, goal-aligned workstreams.
- Exceptional problem solving and data-driven decision making; self-serve skills in Tableau or Qlik are a plus.
- Excellent communication and storytelling; comfortable leading business reviews with executives and cross-functional teams.
- BA/BS required; MBA preferred or equivalent experience. Experience with SMB audiences is a plus.
Compensation and Location
Location: San Francisco, CA. Intuit offers a competitive, performance-based compensation package. Expected base pay ranges: Bay Area, California $197,000–$266,500; Southern California $183,000–$247,500. This role is also eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits per applicable plans and programs. Pay offered depends on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location; Intuit conducts regular pay equity comparisons.
