Informa is hiring a Senior Partnerships Manager to drive sponsorship revenue and elevate creator-led experiences for VidCon, the world’s premier celebration of digital content and the creator economy. This role blends strategic sales with creator ecosystem development to deliver integrated programs for brands, creators, and fans.

Role Summary

As Senior Partnerships Manager, you will own sponsorship sales across VidCon’s Community, Creator, Industry, and VIP audiences while developing and monetizing creator-led inventory. You’ll collaborate with leading brands and platforms—including YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Disney+, Hasbro, and The Coca-Cola Company—to build multi-touch programs that deliver measurable outcomes for partners and memorable experiences for attendees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in VidCon’s audience tracks and align sponsorships to segment needs.
  • Build tailored, cross-track packages that maximize brand presence and engagement.
  • Prospect and secure new partners across brand marketers, agencies, and creator-economy companies.
  • Convert prospects into long-term partners through consultative selling and solution design.
  • Package creator-led experiences (meetups, panels, branded segments, content series) as sponsorable assets.
  • Oversee creator relationships for brand activations and co-develop new formats with partners and talent.
  • Produce case studies that document campaign impact, social engagement, and reach.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account Management on creator-aligned pitch materials and delivery against goals.
  • Upsell and cross-sell into additional products, digital packages, and promotional programs at events.
  • Own KPIs across sponsorship revenue, new business and retention, creator satisfaction, and cross-track integration.

Ideal Profile

  • 5+ years carrying an individual sales quota in consumer/B2B event sponsorship with a record of success.
  • Established relationships with brand marketers and/or B2B marketing decision-makers.
  • Experience building and monetizing creator-led experiences or influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Fluency in experiential and digital media sales processes, metrics, and client success criteria.
  • Proficient with PowerPoint for sales decks and Salesforce (or similar CRM).
  • High EQ presenter and closer; adaptable across multiple audience segments and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, creative problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, matrixed environment.

Compensation, Location, And Work Setup

  • Compensation: $90,000 base salary plus commission.
  • Employment Type: Full-time.
  • Location: Chicago office; in-person collaboration three days a week or more with flexibility to work from home when not onsite.
  • Travel: Regular travel to events, sales meetings, and client visits (including potential international travel).
  • Timeline: Posting is scheduled to expire on 9/30.
