Role Summary
The Marketing Manager for CPA Office Acquisition will build and lead the B2B marketing function that fuels a high-quality lead pipeline for the Acquisition & Development (A&D) team. You will translate the CPA roll-up strategy into multi-channel plans, run targeted campaigns, and optimize conversion from first touch through consultation—partnering closely with A&D, Integration, Legal, Brand, and agency teams. Success is measured by qualified lead volume, conversion to consultations, and the number of acquired CPA offices that meet strategic criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate CPA acquisition goals into targeted, multi-channel marketing plans that drive qualified consultations.
- Build and manage a scalable lead-generation engine across digital media, email, direct mail, events, and outbound tactics.
- Leverage internal/external data to identify and prioritize target firms; apply segmentation and personalized messaging.
- Continuously test messaging, creative, landing pages, and CTAs to improve conversion throughout the journey.
- Run A/B tests, analyze channel performance, and report insights to maximize ROI and inform strategy.
- Collaborate with A&D, Integration, Legal, and Brand to align marketing with deal flow and accelerate acquisitions.
- Direct agency partners on campaigns that reach CPA firm owners; cultivate referral networks and partnerships.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and seller behavior; support special projects and integration marketing.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years in B2B marketing (demand generation, ABM, or campaign strategy) with a record of driving growth.
- Hands-on familiarity with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and business insights tools; financial/professional services experience is a plus.
- Strength in strategy, communication, relationship-building, and results-oriented execution.
Compensation And Location
Pay range: $89,800–$134,700 USD per year. Individual pay depends on experience, education, skills, performance, and work location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and comprehensive benefits (medical/prescription coverage, 401(k), EAP, business travel accident insurance, associate tax prep benefits, and more). Specific benefits vary by role; see employer materials for details (e.g., blockbenefits.com).
Location: Missouri. Work type: Remote. H&R Block is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not tolerate discrimination based on any protected status.
