Role Summary

As Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you’ll own the strategy and execution of full-funnel lifecycle programs across email, push, SMS, and in-app. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to map journeys, design experiments, personalize at scale, and share insights that inform product, marketing, and go-to-market decisions. The role is hands-on and impact-oriented, with a strong focus on experimentation, operational rigor, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and launch lifecycle campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app surfaces.
  • Develop segmentation and personalization strategies based on journey mapping and customer insights.
  • Run always-on experiments to improve activation, conversion, and lifetime value.
  • Measure performance against KPIs, surface insights, and communicate learnings broadly.
  • Document processes, streamline workflows, and maintain operational excellence across teams.
  • Advocate for lifecycle insights in cross-functional discussions to shape customer engagement.
  • Leverage AI and automation to accelerate workflows and personalize at scale.

Ideal Profile

  • 3+ years of hands-on lifecycle marketing experience across multi-channel programs.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation (e.g., Iterable or equivalent), collaboration tools (e.g., Jira), and analytics (e.g., Looker, Amplitude).
  • Nice to have: CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ESPs (e.g., SendGrid), in-app messaging, and AI-powered productivity tools.
  • Strength in experiment design, data interpretation, and clear stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent project management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences.
  • Hybrid collaboration: ability to work from the San Francisco office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Compensation, Benefits, And Location

  • Compensation: $104,000–$122,500 USD, plus stock options.
  • Job Type: Full-time; hybrid in San Francisco, CA (in-office Tue/Wed; WFH Mon/Thu/Fri).
  • 401(k) with 4% match; medical, dental, and vision; FSA options; life and disability coverage.
