Role Summary
As part of the Highwire Intelligence Group, the Insights Analyst turns complex datasets into clear narratives that guide client strategy. You will monitor conversations across social and news, analyze performance, visualize trends, and collaborate with account teams to integrate insights into communications programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze social, web, and traditional media data to inform strategic communications and marketing decisions.
- Develop and refine Boolean queries for real-time media monitoring and social listening; identify trends and emerging themes.
- Create clear visualizations and data stories using Google Sheets, Slides, PowerPoint, and Tableau to communicate findings.
- Measure content and campaign performance via platforms such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social, and Meltwater; recommend optimizations.
- Conduct market and competitor research to establish baselines and uncover opportunities.
- Leverage Excel, Quid, and AI-driven tools to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting workflows.
- Partner with internal account teams to embed insights within broader communications strategies and client deliverables.
Ideal Profile
- 2–5 years of analytics experience in PR, marketing, or advertising; familiarity with technology and healthcare sectors is a plus.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides), data visualization tools, and media monitoring platforms (e.g., Quid, StatSocial, SimilarWeb).
- Data-driven problem solver who can translate analysis into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Clear, concise communicator with strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
- Curious, digitally savvy, and comfortable identifying patterns, trends, and strategic implications in data.
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
Location: New Haven, CT | Job Type: Full-time | Compensation: USD $61,839–$74,037, depending on experience.
