Role Summary

As the Content Marketing Manager (B2C), you will develop and execute consumer content strategies across the full lifecycle—awareness, consideration, activation, and retention. You’ll craft clear, on-brand copy; drive SEO and CRO initiatives; partner with design and development; and maintain a plain-language, inclusive style guide. This full-time role is remote and collaborates closely with creative, product, and marketing stakeholders to improve campaign and journey performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop narratives that move consumers from awareness to action (open, fund, spend, invest) and reinforce positive long-term habits.
  • Write and edit high-impact short-form content: landing pages, ads, enrollment materials, emails, and video scripts to reduce friction and lift conversion.
  • Create educational assets (quick guides, calculators/quizzes briefs, explainer videos) that simplify HealthEquity products.
  • Lead SEO initiatives: keyword research, briefs, on-page optimization, and content refreshes to capture consumer intent.
  • Drive CRO through hypotheses, A/B testing, and strong CTAs; collaborate with design/dev to improve page structure, forms, and journeys.
  • Maintain and evolve a consumer style guide (plain language, inclusive tone, readability, and compliance) and enable teammates with templates and best practices.
  • Advise B2C program leaders to ensure brand-aligned, consistent messaging across channels; direct agency partners for quality and consistency.
  • Leverage AI responsibly to improve efficiency and consistency in content creation, and monitor performance to optimize strategies over time.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or relevant experience, plus 5+ years in content marketing roles.
  • Proven ability to take projects from ideation through completion; strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort with experimentation, rapid iteration, and distinguishing activity from productivity; results-first mindset.
  • Experience with personas and writing for varied consumer audiences; thoughtful in giving/receiving feedback; strong editorial judgment.
  • Familiarity with SEO and CRO practices; ability to partner with design and dev teams; occasional travel as needed.

Compensation, Benefits, And Work Setup

Compensation: $96,500–$123,000 USD base, with eligibility for performance-based incentives. This is a full-time, remote role (#LI-Remote). Actual offers depend on skills, experience, education, and location.
