Product Manager (Remote) — HealthCare Information Management, Inc.

HealthCare Information Management, Inc. (HCIM) is hiring a Product Manager to lead product strategy, roadmap execution, and go-to-market for its healthcare automation software. In this remote role, you will guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that streamline operations for health plans, risk-bearing providers, and TPAs. The position offers a competitive salary range of $140,000–$160,000 USD.

Role Summary

The Product Manager will advance HCIM’s product vision and technology strategy while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. You will own the roadmap, translate insights into actionable features, and foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration across analytics, UX, engineering, enablement, marketing, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-develop, own, and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap using market research and stakeholder input.
  • Build business cases with assumptions, quantified customer value, cost estimates, revenue projections, and ROI.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement) and continuously refine priorities, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Translate the roadmap into requirements: features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Turn data insights into products with measurable customer outcomes; define self-service UX, support, and monitoring.
  • Lead functional design grounded in deep user understanding and technical feasibility.
  • Define and execute go-to-market plans; produce collateral, sales enablement, and demos in partnership with GTM teams.
  • Set up post-launch tracking and reporting to evaluate performance and inform future investment.
  • Collaborate with legal on contract deliverables and third-party license agreements.

Ideal Profile

  • Proven leadership guiding engineering, UX, sales, marketing, and product operations toward a shared vision.
  • Experience creating multi-year roadmaps balancing market opportunities, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Track record of data-driven, customer-first product delivery.
  • High proficiency with Agile principles, prototyping, and iterative development; history of launching software/services.
  • Experience delivering data and intelligence solutions (e.g., dashboards, APIs, real-time alerts).
  • Healthcare domain exposure in claims processing, provider data management, authorization, and eligibility is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills for market sizing and ROI-based business cases; excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Organized, proactive self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Integrity, credibility, and ability to engage clients, colleagues, and executives with confidence and humility.
  • Willingness to travel for client and internal meetings as needed.

Expected Outcomes (First 24 Months)

  • Publish a written product strategy and quarterly roadmap for the next 18 months, prioritizing new products, enhancements, and architecture investments.
  • Establish a standard release cadence and launch at least one meaningful feature enhancement within 12 months.
  • Select a new core administrative system for SymKey automation, create a product charter with robust ROI, and secure at least one signed LOI from an early adopter within 18 months.
  • Drive expansion within existing customers and support new customer wins.

Compensation And Location

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 USD. Location: Remote. Travel may be required for client and internal meetings.
