Director, eCommerce Pure Play — Hain Celestial (Remote)
Hain Celestial seeks a Director, Pure Play eCommerce to lead end-to-end sales operations for its North America pure play channel. The leader in this role will set strategy and drive execution across Amazon (US and CA), Amazon Fresh, iHerb, Thrive Market, and additional pure play partners—owning the P&L, steering cross-functional workstreams, and optimizing investment for profitable growth.

Role Summary
This role owns the pure play eCommerce channel strategy and execution, including P&L management, forecasting and demand planning, retail media and digital merchandising, and broker/agency leadership. The Director will partner closely with integrated marketing, brand, finance, supply chain, and customer support to ensure full-funnel performance and operational excellence. The position is remote with an estimated 20% travel requirement.
- Lead near- and mid-term channel strategy to deliver sustainable, profitable market share growth across Amazon and other pure play retailers.
- Own the Pure Play P&L and optimize investments across trade, media, and operations to achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Drive executive-level relationships and joint business planning with Amazon and other retail partners.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute a full-funnel eCommerce strategy and ensure operational excellence across the flywheel.
- Translate market, customer, and competitive insights into actionable plans that unlock new growth opportunities.
- Steer high-stakes vendor negotiations and partner engagement to secure value-added outcomes.
- Oversee Amazon forecast and demand planning, aligning supply chain and commercial teams on accuracy, availability, and service levels.
- Develop and coach a high-performing team, including 1–2 direct reports and external agencies/brokers.
- Leverage data and analytics (syndicated, POS, internal, and digital shelf) to assess performance and inform decisions.
- Establish communication routines to provide visibility on strategy, performance, and capability needs to senior leadership.
Ideal Profile
- 10+ years in CPG sales; minimum 3 years direct Amazon 1P/eCommerce experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Proven results across pure play platforms via sales planning, digital merchandising, and retail media strategies.
- Experience managing customer relationships, agencies, and Joint Business Planning with key retailers.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable strategies and forecasts (S&OP familiarity).
- Familiarity with retail media, digital shelf analytics, and eCommerce supply chain fundamentals.
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership with strong communication and presentation skills.
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
$161,000–$205,000 base salary (commensurate with experience and location). Remote role with approximately 20% travel. Financial scope includes trade budget management and compliance; team scope includes 1–2 direct reports plus agency and broker partners.
