Role Summary
As Growth Marketing Manager, you will craft and execute data-informed strategies that turn browsers into buyers through promotional offers and lifecycle programs. You will shape narratives for diverse audiences—from first-time smartphone users to super-gamers—while testing, iterating, and scaling what works. The role is highly cross-functional, requiring collaboration with product, engineering, analytics, finance, operations, and creative partners to deliver on growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy, planning, and execution of global growth campaigns that drive buyer acquisition and engagement through Play Store agreements and offers.
- Build strong partnerships with product management, engineering, analytics, finance, operations, product specialists, and legal to influence outcomes.
- Shape the voice and messaging across cross-channel campaigns, including Play Store surfaces, email, and notifications, working closely with designers and agencies.
- Partner with operations and product teams to automate content sourcing and delivery and to scale experimentation.
- Develop testing strategies to improve buyer conversion and engagement, applying data and user insights across segments and channels.
- Evaluate program performance and present results with clear recommendations for optimization and new areas of focus.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years in growth or product marketing with a track record of using data, metrics, and user insights to guide campaigns.
- Proven copywriting skills and ability to tailor messaging by segment and channel.
- Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
- Background in consulting and working with behavioral marketing data (preferred).
- Experience in marketing or sales operations, financial analytics, or related investigative functions (preferred).
- Comfort with experimentation and iteration, delivering high-impact concepts on time and to spec.
Compensation And Location
- Base salary range (US): $137,000–$201,000; bonus, equity, and benefits may be part of total compensation as outlined in the posting.
- Role type: Full-time.
- Primary locations: San Francisco, CA; applicants may also express preference for Mountain View, CA.
- Within the range, pay varies by location and factors such as skills, experience, and relevant training.
