Role Summary
The eCommerce Specialist, DTC supports online sales growth by leading digital merchandising and campaign execution on GNC.com. You will manage promotions, optimize category and landing pages, coordinate new product launches, and apply A/B testing insights to improve conversion and average order value. The role partners closely with marketing, buying, planning, creative, and development teams and operates in a hybrid model based in Pittsburgh, PA (2–3 days in office).
Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and optimize promotions, offers, and upsells across GNC.com.
- Merchandise seasonal and focus landing pages with the site experience team.
- Implement cross-sell and upsell strategies to increase average order value.
- Use A/B testing and analytics to optimize page layouts and product placement.
- Support execution of promotions, sales events, and product launches end to end.
- Align banners, content, and featured products with promotional strategies in market.
- Monitor conversion, bounce rates, product views, and sales to identify opportunities.
- Deliver regular reporting and actionable insights to improve merchandising and UX.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, buying, planning, creative, and development.
- Serve as subject matter expert for assigned product categories; other duties as assigned.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years in e-commerce merchandising, preferably retail or consumer goods.
- Hands-on experience with major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, or BigCommerce).
- Strong grasp of digital merchandising best practices and online consumer behavior.
- Proficiency with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills; detail-oriented and proactive.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
This full-time role is based in Pittsburgh, PA, with a hybrid schedule (2–3 days in office). The expected base salary range is $70,000–$80,000 USD, commensurate with experience.
