Role Summary
The Brand Leader PR will help develop and deploy effective marketing strategies through integrated communications, trade support, and brand-building activities. You will cascade global brand direction to cross-functional partners, distributors, and agencies; plan and track marketing initiatives; and analyze market, brand, and consumer trends using data sources such as Nielsen, ISCAM, and sell-in/sell-out performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel campaigns (digital, media, in-store) against business objectives.
- Align regional and distributor-led marketing with global brand guidelines and local consumer insights.
- Partner closely with distributor teams to ensure consistent execution and brand representation across markets.
- Monitor key performance indicators and share learnings to optimize plans in real time.
- Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, emerging trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Track competitive activity and translate findings into actionable brand recommendations.
- Gather feedback from distributors and regional teams to adapt strategies to local needs and constraints.
- Support budget development and management; track spend and analyze cost efficiency to stay within plan.
- Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting opportunities and risks in distributor markets.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years in brand management, marketing, or related roles; experience in consumer goods/FMCG/retail preferred.
- Proven experience managing distributors in LATAM and Caribbean geographies.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Excellent communication and influence skills; comfortable providing direction remotely to cross-functional and distributor teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; proficiency using syndicated and commercial data sources is a plus.
- Creative and strategic thinker with a practical, can-do mindset and the ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
Compensation and Location
Location: Guaynabo, PR. Compensation ranges from $82,184 to $106,345 USD. Employment type is not specified in the listing. Candidates should be fully bilingual and comfortable collaborating across Puerto Rico and distributor-led markets in the region.
