Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this full-time role owns day-to-day execution across SEO, paid search, paid social, and email—using data to drive continuous improvement and measurable results. Role Summary
As Digital Marketing Specialist, you will execute and optimize campaigns, manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and surface insights that inform strategy. You’ll collaborate with internal teammates and external partners to implement SEO and content initiatives, test new tactics, and deliver monthly performance reporting with clear recommendations. This is a hands-on role suited to a practitioner who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, pacing spend effectively, and translating data into action.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute SEO strategies and content initiatives, collaborating with contractors and agencies as needed.
- Launch and manage paid search, email, and social campaigns; monitor budgets and optimize for performance.
- Track spend, efficiency, and KPIs across digital channels to ensure targets are met.
- Build and deliver monthly performance reports with actionable insights and next steps.
- Use data to identify new opportunities and partner with the marketing team to implement them.
Ideal Profile
- 2–5 years of B2B marketing or agency experience.
- Hands-on experience executing SEO and paid digital campaigns.
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Ads (AdWords), Microsoft Ads, and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with HubSpot or other marketing automation tools is a plus.
- Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
This is a full-time position based in Chicago, IL. The expected salary range is $70,000–$75,000 USD; actual compensation depends on factors such as experience, training, location, and skills.
