Role Summary

Reporting into Marketing, the Marketing Specialist develops member-facing content, supports design production, and manages day-to-day operations such as calendars, requests, and asset organization. You will create copy and visuals for email, web, social, and print; maintain brand standards; and coordinate vendor, inventory, and storefront needs while partnering with internal stakeholders to meet campaign goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write brand-aligned copy for email campaigns, blog posts, newsletters, websites, digital banners, and online banking platforms.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite or Canva to create flyers, email headers, newsletters, digital ads, and other collateral; collaborate with designers as needed and follow brand guidelines.
  • Assist with print and collateral production, including brochures, in-branch signage, and direct mail pieces.
  • Ensure voice, tone, and style consistency across member communications; edit and proofread for clarity, accuracy, and quality.
  • Build and maintain a library of marketing assets (copy, testimonials, images, creative files) that is organized and accessible.
  • Manage incoming marketing requests, maintain project calendars, support campaign timelines, and handle scheduling and documentation.
  • Coordinate storefront operations, inventory management, promotional items, and vendor relationships.
  • Support the monthly social media calendar by creating, scheduling, and routing content for approvals.

Ideal Profile

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone to different audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Understanding of brand identity and visual design principles.
  • Experience with digital platforms (email platforms, CMS, online banking ad systems) is a plus.
  • Experience with print production and collateral development.
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in credit unions, banking, or financial services preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello).

Compensation And Location

Salary range: $68,640–$90,967 annually (USD). Location: Costa Mesa, CA. Employment type was not specified in the listing.
