Role Summary

As Product Manager for Digital eCommerce (Search/Findability), you will shape product strategy, vision, and roadmap for search and discovery. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, merchandising, content, design, and engineering to prioritize customer needs, test solutions, and deliver measurable performance improvements. This leader will drive data-informed decisions through analytics, experimentation, and continuous feedback loops, operating within an agile development process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define vision, strategy, and a detailed roadmap for search and product discovery.
  • Communicate changes to business leaders and align initiatives to company goals.
  • Specify and conduct market research; assess competitive offerings and benchmarks.
  • Prepare forecasts, reports, and analyses to inform short- and long-term product impact and usage.
  • Use analytics to identify opportunities, improve operational efficiency, and prioritize the roadmap (KPIs/OKRs).
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing/content, and merchandising to translate customer and business needs into requirements.
  • Coordinate with project management to ensure on-time, properly scoped delivery; partner with design and engineering in agile sprints.
  • Monitor product health via analytics and user feedback; run A/B and user tests to validate outcomes.
  • Share monthly commentary and continuously improve prioritization and execution practices.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment aligned with Ferguson’s diversity commitment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 1–3 years of product management experience; eCommerce experience preferred.
  • Background in product catalog, site search, or merchandising preferred.
  • Experience with web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) and experimentation.
  • Customer-centered mindset and a performance orientation to drive outcomes and results.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to influence horizontally and align diverse stakeholders on priorities.
  • Agile product development experience; adaptable, positive, and self-motivated leader of cross-functional teams.

Location And Work Arrangement

Remote within the United States. This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation And Benefits

Estimated monthly salary range: $6,374.70–$12,100.00 USD. Actual pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible and complies with applicable wage regulations.
