Role Summary

Reporting to the Director of Web Marketing, the Web Programs Manager, SEO will execute and evolve critical web programs—spanning SEO, CRO, personalization, and UX—to grow organic visibility and improve conversion funnels. The role requires a holistic web perspective, comfort with technical SEO and content strategy, and hands-on experience with Generative Search Optimization (GSO). You’ll translate complex analytics into clear roadmaps and partner closely with engineering, product, web, and content teams to deliver high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy And Execution

  • Launch A/B and multivariate tests for priority pages aligned to web and growth goals across traditional and AI-powered search experiences (e.g., Google’s SGE, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT).
  • Conduct keyword research and intent analysis to inform content that earns AI summaries, featured snippets, and generative previews.
  • Monitor competitors and identify opportunities across emerging search formats; adapt strategy to maximize visibility and conversions.
  • Track and report on performance within GSO experiences; iterate based on data-driven insights.

Technical SEO And Site Health

  • Audit and monitor crawlability, indexability, page speed, structured data, and Core Web Vitals across global sites.
  • Partner with engineering and web teams to resolve technical issues, implement schema markup, and maintain scalable SEO foundations.
  • Ensure robust sitemap, robots.txt, canonicalization, and hreflang implementations.

Content Optimization And Collaboration

  • Guide content strategy with brand and product marketing; align topics to keyword opportunities and search intent.
  • Identify high-opportunity pages for updates, rewrites, and UX enhancements to improve rankings and engagement.
  • Provide SEO support for new landing pages, web campaigns, and site updates to embed best practices from the start.

Reporting And Insights

  • Own SEO dashboards and KPIs (traffic, CTR, rankings, visibility, pipeline contribution) and communicate trends to stakeholders.
  • Present regular performance readouts with clear recommendations and roadmaps.
  • Stay current on SEO and AI search developments; share implications and next steps internally.

Ideal Profile

  • 5+ years in web strategy or SEO, ideally within B2B SaaS or enterprise tech.
  • Proven technical and content SEO expertise (structured data, audits, content optimization).
  • Experience with Generative Search (e.g., Google SGE, Bing Copilot, AI summary engines) is a strong plus.
  • Fluency with tools like Google Search Console, Looker, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GA4, and SEO Chrome extensions.
  • Strong understanding of search intent, UX, and content design; analytical mindset with the ability to distill complex data into action.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

Compensation, Benefits, And Location

Salary range: $105,740–$126,888 USD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This role may be eligible for equity and discretionary bonus programs. Benefits begin on day one and include medical, dental, and vision insurance; family planning; mental health support and EAP; life, disability, and accident insurance; flexible vacation; up to 18 days of accrued paid sick leave; 401(k) with company match; Employee Stock Purchase Program; and, in 2025, 11 paid local holidays plus 11 company wellness days. Location: San Francisco, CA, with a hybrid work model and availability during core business hours.
