Role Summary
Reporting on property, the Assistant Director serves as the day-to-day marketing lead for venues such as Faena Miami Beach, Casa Faena, Tierra Santa Healing House, Pao, Los Fuegos, Faena Theater, Saxony Bar, and The Living Room. You will guide integrated campaigns, coordinate cross-functional execution, and uphold brand excellence across channels and touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-property Marketing and Communications strategy for the Faena District, aligned with corporate leadership and tailored to the Miami market.
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns across digital, social, PR, print, and experiential channels.
- Ensure brand consistency, timelines, and cross-department alignment for all initiatives.
- Serve as liaison between Marketing and Operations to enable events, programming, and brand initiatives.
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team (Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator) and foster a culture of accountability and growth.
- Own social media calendars, content creation, and activations; monitor engagement and adherence to global brand standards.
- Oversee creative production, collateral, and photo/video shoots with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring visual identity and operational logistics are met.
- Drive digital performance, including SEO, SEM, metasearch, and OTA optimization in collaboration with Brand and Revenue teams.
- Maintain accurate listings and content across owned and third-party platforms (website, Google, OpenTable, TripAdvisor, OTA listings).
- Partner with the Director of Marketing and Communications and PR agencies on media opportunities, press visits, and influencer activations; amplify local messaging and campaigns.
- Support CRM and email marketing, including planning the property’s email calendar and coordinating campaign deployment with corporate and brand teams.
- Track key metrics (social, web, email, reviews), analyze competitor activity and trends, and recommend data-informed improvements.
- Manage budgets, vendors, and invoice reconciliation; assist with forecasting, reporting, and revenue-enhancing strategies.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive marketing experience within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury brands.
- Proven leadership with experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in digital marketing, social media, and brand management across channels and touchpoints.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to allocate resources and manage risk.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing abilities with attention to detail and organization.
- Creative thinker with a strong grasp of luxury positioning and experiential marketing.
- Working knowledge of the creative process and Adobe Suite (intermediate to advanced).
- Ability to spot emerging trends and technologies that can generate revenue and engagement.
- Approachable, authentic, and diplomatic; maintains high ethical standards and integrity.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
Compensation and Location
This is a full-time role based in Miami Beach, FL. The expected salary range is $74,782–$89,512 USD, depending on experience. The position supports a dynamic hospitality environment and may require evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
