Role Summary

As an Audience & Signals Specialist on the Customer Personalization & Intelligence team, you’ll build and optimize audiences across paid social platforms while ensuring high-quality data signals inform campaign performance. You’ll support the Google and App Privacy & Addressability Manager on audience strategy, privacy support, and execution, partnering closely with media planners, creative teams, and analytics to deliver storytelling-driven campaigns. This full-time role reports to the Director, Global Media Investment & Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and optimize audiences across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and other paid social platforms to meet brand and growth objectives.
  • Translate business goals into audience strategies that align messaging, creative, and targeting for storytelling-led campaigns.
  • Coordinate tagging, QA, and campaign setup to ensure accurate implementation and measurement across platforms.
  • Partner with analytics and MarTech teams to validate and activate high-quality signals that inform optimization and creative insights.
  • Collaborate with brand, creative, and growth teams—and external platforms—to drive audience efficiency, support privacy compliance, and adopt privacy-enhancing technologies where applicable.

Core Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing paid social campaigns (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of audience segmentation and narrative-driven digital marketing.
  • Hands-on expertise with campaign setup, tagging, targeting, and optimization workflows.
  • Familiarity with DV360 and relevant paid social certifications (e.g., Meta Blueprint, TikTok Academy).
  • Ability to bridge creative strategy with audience data and insights to inform testing and iteration.
  • Effective collaborator with cross-functional marketing teams and platform partners.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with SQL, R, Python, VBA, or another backend programming language.
  • Creative testing and optimization within social platforms.
  • Data visualization and dashboarding (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for campaign storytelling.
  • Understanding of marketplace dynamics and user segmentation strategies.
  • Certifications in advertising or analytics solutions (e.g., Meta Blueprint, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Exposure to clean rooms or PETs and MMPs (e.g., AppsFlyer); familiarity with machine learning concepts.

Compensation, Work Mode, And Location

Salary range: $100,000–$130,000 USD, plus eligibility for an equity package, annual performance bonus, and competitive benefits. This hybrid role requires presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn office one to two days per week, with candidates within a commutable distance prioritized. Employment type: Full-time.
