Role Summary

As Marketing Director, you will lead a portfolio through strategy, innovation, communications, and media while mentoring a high-performing team. The role blends big-picture planning with hands-on execution—partnering across Sales, Product Development, Operations, and more to bring products from concept to shelf, win market share, and deepen consumer affinity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end brand strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and sales growth.
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Own brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity for consistent market impact.
  • Drive innovation and new product development aligned to portfolio strategy.
  • Lead integrated marketing across social, paid media, SEO, and influencer partnerships.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Development, and Operations to align on business goals.
  • Analyze performance, consumer insights, and market trends to refine strategies.
  • Champion creative collaborations and campaigns that build brand love and loyalty.

Ideal Profile

  • 8+ years in marketing with 3+ years in leadership; CPG/food & beverage/lifestyle preferred.
  • Track record of delivering high-impact, integrated marketing campaigns at scale.
  • Strength in team leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Creative and analytical mindset; comfortable balancing strategy and execution.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Passion for food, community, and memorable brand experiences; ice cream enthusiasm a plus.

Compensation, Benefits, and Location

This is a full-time role based in Walnut Creek, CA. The anticipated pay range is $185,000–$225,000 USD per year, with final compensation dependent on skills, experience, and business needs.
