Off The Charts (OTC) is seeking a Social Media Coordinator/Manager to capture the energy of its retail environment through short-form video. This part-time, on-site role in Costa Mesa, CA focuses on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms to drive audience engagement and brand storytelling.

Company Overview

Customer Driven Staffing (CD Staffing) partners with Off The Charts to identify creative storytellers who can elevate OTC’s social presence with compelling video content. OTC is growing and prioritizes creativity, collaboration, and consistency in content that reflects its in-store experience.

Role Summary

You will plan, film, and edit short-form videos in OTC stores, highlighting events, team members, customer interactions, and promotions. The role includes traveling between retail locations, maintaining an organized content library, and iterating based on performance metrics. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling and the potential for full-time hours depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Film and produce TikTok and Instagram Reels on-site in stores.
  • Edit short-form content using trending audio, captions, transitions, and visual effects to drive engagement.
  • Capture dynamic footage of in-store events, team features, customer interactions, and promotional campaigns.
  • Travel between store locations to generate a consistent flow of fresh content and visuals.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts that align with brand and compliance guidelines.
  • Maintain an organized content library across projects and platforms.
  • Monitor performance metrics (e.g., views, shares, reach) and optimize content using data-driven insights.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, emerging platforms, and short-form best practices.
  • Support occasional photography for social channels and marketing materials.

Ideal Profile

  • 1–3 years of experience creating social media content that delivers measurable results.
  • Proficient with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar video-editing tools.
  • Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and platform-specific engagement drivers.
  • Self-starter who is reliable and comfortable working on-site with staff and customers.
  • Ability to travel to multiple retail locations as needed within the area.
  • Creative mindset with a knack for turning everyday moments into compelling content; comfortable appearing on camera when needed.
  • Understanding of brand identity, audience engagement strategies, and campaign development.
  • Working knowledge of lighting, audio, and mobile/stabilized shooting techniques.
  • Photo and graphic editing skills (Photoshop, Canva, Lightroom) are a plus; strong organization and attention to detail.

Compensation, Schedule, And Location

This is a part-time role with flexibility and growth potential. Compensation and benefits include:

  • Compensation: $23–$25 per hour (USD), based on experience.
  • Schedule: Part-time with flexible scheduling; potential for full-time hours depending on business needs.
  • Location: On-site in Costa Mesa, CA, with regular travel between store locations.
