Role Summary

As the Account Manager, you’ll be the strategic partner and primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients. You will align internal teams to client goals, oversee delivery against scope and KPIs, and surface opportunities that drive retention, expansion, and long-term partnership health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships: act as trusted advisor, translate goals into roadmaps, and keep stakeholders aligned to outcomes.
  • Own project and service delivery: coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure work meets scope and timelines, and proactively mitigate risks and scope creep.
  • Lead strategic account planning: build plans tied to client objectives, identify renewals, upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and support proposals with ROI-focused narratives.
  • Drive reporting and communication: run status meetings, share performance updates, and maintain documentation such as contracts, SOWs, and meeting notes.
  • Oversee financials: track scoped hours, margin, and billing cadence; flag risks early and partner with finance to resolve issues and maintain account health.

Ideal Profile

You’re an organized, client-facing operator who can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution. You communicate clearly, navigate senior stakeholders with confidence, and enjoy solving problems with data and experimentation.

  • Experience managing multiple accounts with revenue ownership in an agency or professional services environment (strongly preferred).
  • Proven client services or account management background and comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills; ability to prioritize across accounts.
  • Strategic, analytical mindset; web analytics and A/B testing knowledge are pluses.

Compensation, Benefits, and Location

Location: Remote; company headquartered in Kentfield, CA.

Compensation: $65,000–$85,000 USD base salary, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
