Converse is hiring an experienced Lead Recruiter to drive full-cycle recruiting for Converse and Nike, Inc. Marketplace business units. This is a high-impact role for a consultative talent partner who excels at sourcing, stakeholder management, and delivering a best-in-class hiring experience in a fast-paced environment.

Role Summary
The Lead Recruiter serves as a strategic talent advisor to senior leaders and hiring managers, leading full lifecycle searches and shaping talent strategies using market insights. You will design and execute candidate generation programs, elevate the candidate experience, and champion process improvements that support organizational growth and hiring excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruiting for corporate and Marketplace roles, ensuring a consistent, equitable process.
- Act as a consultative partner to hiring managers and HR, providing data-driven guidance on talent markets and search strategy.
- Develop sourcing strategies (e.g., LinkedIn and CRM) to build diverse pipelines of passive and active talent.
- Elevate candidate experience through clear communication, structured interviews, and timely feedback loops.
- Leverage market intel and recruiting analytics to inform decisions and continuously improve processes and tools.
- Champion belonging and equity in hiring practices and outcomes.
Who You Will Work With
Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, Marketing and Marketplace, you will collaborate closely with the TA Center of Excellence, University Relations, Sourcing, Candidate Coordination, Total Rewards, and Business HR Partners to streamline and optimize the recruitment lifecycle and deliver on hiring goals.
Ideal Profile
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting in agency and/or in-house environments.
- Expertise in passive sourcing strategies and building diverse talent pipelines.
- Strong consultative, interpersonal, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
- Experience facilitating behavioral-based interview training and using structured assessment methods.
- Proven ability to present market data to guide sourcing strategies and influence decisions.
- Track record of meeting deadlines and executing in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- In-house corporate recruiting experience supporting Marketplace teams; experience hiring at Director level and above.
- Experience with an ATS is required; familiarity with Workday ATS and Avature CRM is a plus.
Compensation and Location
Location: Boston, MA (open to remote work except in South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia). Employment Type: Full-time, Remote.
Base Salary Range: USD $100,700 – $205,800, varying by location, qualifications, skills, and experience. Additional benefits information is available from the employer during the process.
