Role Summary

As Social Media Manager, you will steward Consuela’s voice, visuals, and storytelling across organic social channels. The role reports to the Director of Digital & E-commerce Marketing and collaborates closely with Creative, Brand, E-commerce, Customer Experience, and Retail teams.

  • Own the social content calendar and ensure consistent tone, voice, and visual identity.
  • Balance aspirational storytelling with measurable outcomes tied to campaigns and product launches.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to reflect brand values and drive community growth.
  • Contribute as an individual contributor on the Marketing team (no direct reports).

Strategy, Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute a holistic social strategy aligned to campaign calendars, launches, and brand milestones.
  • Maintain an always-on content calendar with consistent voice and visual identity across platforms.
  • Track cultural moments and platform innovations to keep the brand relevant and timely.
  • Align social plans with broader brand, marketing, and creative priorities.

Content Creation & Brand Storytelling

  • Concept, create, edit, and publish original photo, video, Reels/TikTok, Stories, and graphics that embody the Consuela aesthetic.
  • Curate UGC, lifestyle imagery, and influencer content to enrich storytelling.
  • Partner with Creative, E-commerce, and Brand teams to build templates and on-brand assets.
  • Support Retail and Wholesale storytelling, including store events and seasonal activations.

Community & Engagement

  • Collaborate with Customer Experience to address product inquiries and support customer happiness.
  • Foster a loyal, engaged community by building relationships with influencers and brand advocates.
  • Support social listening, sentiment monitoring, and feedback loops to inform content and support.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track and report on engagement, reach, saves, shares, follower growth, and content effectiveness.
  • Use insights to test formats, cadence, and timing; optimize future campaigns and creative.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor benchmarks to refine approach and spot opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of social media management experience, ideally in fashion, lifestyle, or brand-led consumer products.
  • Strong portfolio across photo, video, and copy that demonstrates visual storytelling and creative direction.
  • Expertise with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, Substack, LinkedIn, Threads, and emerging channels.
  • Proficiency in Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (or similar).
  • Working knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, TikTok Analytics) to inform content strategy.
