Role Summary

As the Temp Marketing Editorial Content Coordinator, you will assist the Director of Editorial Marketing in producing, loading, and refining written and digital content across Concord Theatricals’ websites and editorial platforms. You’ll draft title descriptions, update author bios, and write articles, listicles, interviews, and related pieces that serve theatre-makers and fans. This is a one-year temporary contract, hybrid (minimum three days on-site) in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proof, edit, and clean editorial content on the Concord Theatricals website.
  • Draft descriptive copy for catalog titles, categories, and author pages.
  • Aggregate and synthesize reviews, press coverage, and promotional materials for web use.
  • Update and refine author biographies and related metadata.
  • Contribute to editorial strategy for websites and owned platforms.
  • Write and edit articles, interviews, and listicles aligned to theatre audiences.
  • Support maintenance of 18k+ title pages and 10k+ author pages; track and record progress.
  • Draft and edit content for editorial platforms including Breaking Character and The Scene.
  • Develop creative ideas and assets that promote titles and authors in coordination with the team.
  • Assist with scheduling and tagging social media posts as needed.
  • Provide administrative support and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.

Ideal Profile

  • 1–2 years in editing, publishing, dramaturgy, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong command of English grammar and style.
  • Solid dramaturgical foundation and theatre analysis capabilities.
  • Project management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Self-motivated, receptive to direction, and comfortable collaborating across teams and levels.

Compensation, Location, And Work Setup

This temporary, one-year contract role offers a salary range of $50,000–$55,000 USD. The position is hybrid with a minimum of three days on-site in New York, NY.
