COMPLEX seeks a hands-on TikTok marketer to grow the platform presence for Complex Shop and flagship IRL events, including ComplexCon and Family Style. This mid-level role blends content creation, creator partnerships, and performance reporting to translate cultural moments into measurable brand and commerce results.

Role Summary
The Marketing Manager, TikTok will own day-to-day strategy and execution for Complex Shop and event channels on TikTok. You will concept, produce, and edit native content; activate and manage creators; coordinate cross-functionally on product drops and event moments; and report on performance to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings 3–5+ years of direct TikTok experience within consumer, e-commerce, or entertainment-driven brands.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Develop and execute a TikTok-first content calendar for Complex Shop and IRL events.
- Concept, shoot, and edit native videos (trends, challenges, product features, behind-the-scenes, and more).
- Align creative with brand voice and optimize for TikTok culture and algorithms.
Influencer & Creator Network
- Build and manage relationships with TikTok creators to amplify Shop campaigns and event marketing.
- Lead outreach, negotiations, briefs, approvals, and day-to-day coordination.
- Track performance against KPIs and optimize creator programs over time.
Campaign Execution
- Partner with merchandising, events, studio, and growth teams on product drops and experiential moments.
- Launch TikTok-native organic and paid campaigns tied to commerce and cultural moments.
- Drive measurable results across awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Analytics & Insights
- Monitor analytics and platform trends; adjust content in real time to improve performance.
- Report results, learnings, and ROI to marketing leadership; test emerging features and formats.
Ideal Profile
- 3–5+ years managing TikTok for consumer-facing brands in sports, music, streetwear, or D2C e-commerce.
- Portfolio of viral or high-performing TikTok content; comfortable behind and/or in front of the camera.
- Fluent in TikTok trends, editing tools, and native formats.
- End-to-end influencer management experience (contracting, briefing, approvals, analytics).
- Data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements quickly.
- Highly organized self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, culture-led environments.
- Passion for the culture of streetwear, fashion, sneakers, music, sports, and entertainment.
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
Job type: Full-time | Location: Los Angeles, CA | Work authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; COMPLEX participates in E-Verify and does not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
Estimated pay range: $90,000–$110,000 USD. Actual pay varies by location, experience, and performance; the range may include salary and commission per employer guidelines.
