CommonSpirit Health is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to support donor stewardship and marketing programs that retain and grow philanthropic support. This role partners closely with the Director of Stewardship & Marketing and cross-functional teams to execute campaigns, events, content, reporting, and CRM-enabled donor experiences.

Role Summary

As Marketing Coordinator, you will coordinate day-to-day stewardship and marketing activities to extend the Foundation brand and deepen donor engagement. The position supports content development, email and social execution, SEO and paid digital efforts, event promotion, CRM workflows, performance reporting, and project management. You will collaborate with the Philanthropy (Annual Fund, Events, Major Gifts), Operations, Corporate Communications, BNI marketing team, and donor partners to deliver on-time, on-budget initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy e-newsletters (Mailchimp), website copy, and social content calendars using Sprinklr, Canva, Facebook Business Manager, and Adobe Suite.
  • Support plan implementation and scheduling; use Monday.com or similar tools to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Draft, edit, and proof copy for announcements, letters, invitations, brochures, donor relations materials, and ads.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Director of Stewardship & Marketing, including calendar management and meeting facilitation.
  • Assist with annual fund campaigns, project management tasks, and research to inform strategy and execution.
  • Contribute to paid digital advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Google), SEO, and digital initiatives that drive reach and conversion.
  • Coordinate CRM support for promotions and events, including registration, payment, and information capture processes.
  • Track and report on marketing and communications KPIs; recommend adjustments to meet goals.
  • Collaborate across marketing, foundation operations, development, corporate communications, and BNI marketing teams, as well as with donors.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Ideal Profile

  • Education: Associate of Arts or some college required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1–2 years related experience required; 3 years preferred in marketing, communications, or fundraising support.
  • Tools: Proficiency with Word, Excel, Google Workspace, Monday.com (or similar), CRM systems, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Canva (or similar), Adobe Suite, and social platforms.
  • Strengths: Self-motivated, highly organized, strong written and verbal communication, ethical conduct, and broad understanding of fundraising and development practices.
  • Work Style: Thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment; adept at prioritizing, managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining confidentiality; HIPAA-aware; able to engage effectively with physicians, administrators, and donors.

Compensation And Location

$24.33–$36.19 per hour (USD), based in Phoenix, AZ. Specific schedule and work arrangement are not stated in the posting. Candidates should be comfortable collaborating across onsite clinical and administrative teams when needed.
