Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) is hiring a Social Media Content Specialist to elevate its brand presence across social platforms through short-form video, livestreams, and clear, audience-first storytelling. This on-site role suits a creator who pairs hands-on production skills with data-informed social strategy and a deep interest in the collectibles community.

Role Summary

As the Social Media Content Specialist, you will produce visual content end-to-end, manage community engagement, and deliver performance insights that inform content decisions. The role includes regular travel for event coverage and occasional evening/weekend support to capture live moments and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and edit short-form video using smartphones, DSLRs/mirrorless cameras, mics, gimbals, and lighting setups.
  • Edit efficiently in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools; motion graphics or animation experience is a plus.
  • Plan and conduct livestreams across social platforms, ensuring reliable technical setup and timely execution.
  • Write concise, high-performing social copy; translate niche collectible topics for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to concept and request graphics that align with brand standards.
  • Schedule, publish, and track posts via native or third-party tools; optimize timing, format, and creative using analytics.
  • Monitor trends and competitors in TCG, sports, and non-sports cards to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Engage with the community, foster conversation, and surface feedback to the broader team.
  • Travel to industry trade shows, grading activations, and collector events to produce timely on-site content.
  • Work independently or with a lean crew to capture photo, video, and social assets under tight deadlines.
  • Report on content performance and share insights and growth opportunities with stakeholders.

Ideal Profile

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in social media content creation and publishing.
  • Proven ability to shoot and edit video independently across platforms; livestreaming experience required.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Threads, and Reddit.
  • Strong social copywriting skills with a track record of high engagement.
  • Deep familiarity with pop culture collectibles, especially trading cards and sports cards.
  • Solid understanding of social analytics and performance optimization fundamentals.
  • Basic motion design or animation experience; photography and lighting experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with asset management tools and content calendars (e.g., Monday, Trello).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently for on-site content capture, including some weekends.

Compensation And Location

  • Compensation: USD $45,000–$55,000, depending on experience.
  • Employment: Full-time, on-site.
  • Location: Sarasota, FL.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional evening and weekend support as needed.
  • Travel: Frequent, including coverage of trade shows and collector events.
  • Team: Reports to the Director, Media; collaborates with the Sr. Director of Content, Marketing, Graphic Design, and Video teams.
