Regional Account Manager, West (Remote) — Censis
Censis is hiring a Regional Account Manager to lead growth across the West region—California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and Alaska. This remote role centers on expanding adoption of Censis’ subscription-based platform (including CensiTrac, ScopeTrac, LoanerLink, Analytics, and new releases) across hospitals, IDNs, ASCs, and alternate care settings.

Role Summary
The Regional Account Manager will drive market share growth and meet or exceed quota by executing a disciplined, consultative sales process. You’ll manage the entire account lifecycle—from pipeline generation to close—while collaborating with internal partners. Success requires clearly articulating clinical and business value to stakeholders such as surgeons, clinical leaders, surgical business managers, central sterile and endoscopy teams, IT, and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver market share growth and meet or exceed regional sales quota.
- Drive specialty product sales with new and existing customers across assigned states.
- Generate pipeline via cold outreach, marketing campaigns, grassroots activities, national account resources, and participation in regional/national events and shows.
- Partner with National Account, Channel Management, and Client Services teams to drive unit volume and align on account strategy.
- Develop strong customer relationships, build brand loyalty, and expand current accounts through new product sales.
- Plan, prioritize, lead, and track the full sales cycle; maintain accurate forecasting and CRM documentation.
- Present and demo patient safety and business benefits to individuals and committees across call points.
- Build and maintain clinical and technical expertise relevant to Censis solutions and hospital workflows.
- Take a total account management approach, engaging surgeons, clinical leaders, central sterile and endoscopy teams, IT, and supply chain stakeholders.
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years selling healthcare technology applications and/or clinical technical solutions in hospital settings.
- Experience calling on multi-departmental hospital middle management at the account and IDN level; ability to develop internal champions.
- Proven team selling experience and a disciplined, consultative sales approach.
- Call point expertise with OR, Central Sterile, Endoscopy, IT, and Materials Management departments.
- Highly developed interpersonal influence; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strengths in negotiation, business planning, sales strategy, problem solving, decision making, and time management.
- Execution-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to build technical knowledge to overcome obstacles.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce.com CRM, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Open Voice, and vendor credentialing services.
- Willing and able to travel extensively (approximately 50–70%, including overnights) within the designated geography.
Compensation And Location
Remote role covering California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and Alaska, with travel expected at 50–70%. The stated pay range for this sales position (inclusive of sales incentives/commissions in local currency) is USD 131,600–244,400.
