Head Of Client Services, US Growth Leader — CELLA

CELLA is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial leader to drive U.S. growth for a beauty and wellness brand. This senior hire will blend client services, business development, and retail marketing to accelerate customer acquisition, elevate retail partnerships, and build scalable operations across the U.S.

Role Summary

As Head of Client Services and U.S. Growth Leader, you will own the U.S. market strategy, champion the brand at a major national retailer, and oversee retail operations and new business development. You’ll collaborate with global marketing on growth initiatives and act as a product educator to support go-to-market plans. The role offers significant growth potential, with a possible pathway to a future General Manager position for U.S. operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive U.S. business development strategy focused on new customer acquisition and strategic retail partnerships.
  • Own the relationship with a major anchor retail partner (Ulta) and drive growth via door expansion, promotions, and enhanced e-commerce exposure.
  • Oversee U.S. retail fleet performance, local event planning, and budget management to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Identify and pursue new growth channels, including additional retailers, e-commerce platforms, and vertically integrated opportunities.
  • Partner with global marketing to protect brand integrity while implementing growth marketing programs that meet ambitious acquisition targets.

Ideal Profile

  • 8–10 years in beauty or wellness with experience across brand marketing and commercial functions; challenger brand background is a plus. Product educator experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven success managing and growing a brand within Ulta’s ecosystem (mandatory).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking and proactive business development orientation.
  • Commercial acumen in business development and account management, with analytical rigor for market and partnership evaluation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and storytelling skills; capable of influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

Compensation, Benefits & Location

Salary range: $200,000–$250,000 USD annually. Job type: Permanent; Remote. The description also references Venice, California. Final offer depends on factors such as education, experience, work location, role scope, and certifications.
