Role Summary
The Marketing Analytics Specialist will own end-to-end tracking and reporting across web properties and paid channels. You’ll manage GTM/GA4 configurations, build and maintain dashboards in GA4 and Looker Studio, implement and troubleshoot conversion tracking across major ad platforms, and collaborate with developers and media buyers. You’ll also evaluate and apply AI tools to streamline validation, error detection, and reporting workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Tracking & Analytics Management: Manage GTM and GA4 accounts/containers; deploy tags, triggers, and variables; troubleshoot data issues; maintain GA4 and Looker Studio dashboards.
- Conversion Tracking & Integrations: Implement and maintain conversion tracking across Facebook, Google, Nextdoor, Newsbreak, MediaGo, Taboola, and Outbrain; monitor and resolve data discrepancies; align with media buyers.
- Data Analysis & Optimization: Analyze performance data to identify trends and gaps; recommend improvements to targeting, measurement, and attribution; refine tracking setups continuously.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers to define metrics and events; document processes; propose workflow improvements; stay current on analytics and attribution best practices.
- AI Integration: Propose and implement AI-powered checks for data validation and error detection; share recommendations on AI tools that enhance reporting and collaboration.
Ideal Profile
- Proven expertise with Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Looker Studio.
- Hands-on conversion tracking across Facebook, Google, Nextdoor, Newsbreak, MediaGo, Taboola, and Outbrain.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for analytics and tracking implementations.
- Familiarity with media buying workflows, performance KPIs, and attribution models; commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, automation scripts, AI reporting assistants) to improve validation, reporting, and team efficiency.
- Process-oriented with strong documentation habits; able to standardize and scale workflows.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English; proactive, inquisitive, and solution-focused.
- Highly organized; comfortable switching between quick-turn tasks and longer-term projects.
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, changing environment; effective independently and in remote collaboration.
Compensation, Benefits, and Location
Salary range: $58,014–$77,671 USD. Full-time, remote role. Posted location: Maine. Work from a comfortable location within the CET time zone; the team emphasizes flexibility and balance.
