Role Summary
Reporting to the Chief of Consumer Marketing and the Staff Services Manager II, the Brand Marketing Manager leads the development and implementation of integrated marketing strategies across traditional, digital, retail, events, sponsorships, and owned channels. The role guides Brand Strategy & Integrated Marketing (BSIM) staff, collaborates with external agencies, reviews paid media plans, manages budgets and agency contracts, and ensures campaigns align with strategic goals and target audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead brand strategy and integrated marketing planning in partnership with agencies and cross-functional teams.
- Oversee campaign development from brief through final creative production across TV, video, radio, streaming audio, OOH, digital, social, retail, events/experiential, sponsorships, and owned channels.
- Direct creative processes including key art, asset development, concept review, production coordination, and approvals.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on paid media strategies and media buys aligned to audience and objectives.
- Lead and mentor BSIM team members to deliver integrated plans and campaigns on schedule and within budget.
- Serve as contract manager for select marketing agency agreements; track advertising expenditures and program budgets.
- Use analytics and key metrics to inform strategy, optimize campaigns, and guide innovation.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (marketing, communications, or related field).
- 5+ years of progressive brand marketing/advertising experience delivering integrated plans across traditional, digital, retail, and owned channels for a national or large regional brand or agency.
- 5+ years collaborating cross-functionally and leading internal/external stakeholders on integrated planning.
- 3+ years team leadership, guiding staff through planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns/projects.
- 3+ years managing creative and media agencies from strategy through concepting to final production.
- Hands-on creative development experience across TV, radio, streaming, OOH, display, social, and retail channels.
- Strong analytical skills; fluent in metrics-driven planning and performance interpretation; budget management proficiency.
- Clear communicator with presentation skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe Spark a plus.

- Current Marketing Specialist exam/list eligibility is required.

- Salary: USD $6,623–$8,290; new-to-state candidates are hired at the minimum of the range.
