Role Summary

As an SEO Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of long-term client engagements and select project-based work. Expect to lead client meetings, build SEO roadmaps, conduct in-depth technical audits, and translate insights into actionable deliverables. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, marketers, and stakeholders, and leverage Botify’s technology—including PageWorkers—to implement and validate improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact and build strong client relationships.
• Lead regular meetings to review progress, troubleshoot issues, and present strategic recommendations.
• Develop and execute SEO roadmaps aligned to client goals and milestones.
• Conduct technical SEO audits; identify crawl, render, and indexation issues; propose solutions.
• Write and manage SEO tickets with clear, actionable implementation details.
• Guide complex site migrations and coordinate with internal teams, agencies, and vendors.
• Interpret data, surface insights, and inform custom reporting in partnership with Professional Services.
• Provide QA and technical guidance on staging and production implementations.
• Use Botify’s PageWorkers to craft and deploy on-site optimizations when appropriate.
• Proactively identify opportunities and drive initiatives that solve critical SEO challenges.

Ideal Profile

• 7+ years of professional SEO experience with a strong technical focus.
• 3+ years in client-facing roles managing long-term engagements and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to deliver technical audits and actionable strategies that drive outcomes.
• Experience QAing implementations in staging and on live sites; familiarity with CMS workflows.
• Expertise in site migrations, architecture, and structured data design and implementation.
• Ability to translate complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfort leveraging AI platforms to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Strong communicator, collaborative mindset, and genuine customer focus.

Compensation, Location, And Benefits

Location: New York, NY. Compensation: Up to $130,000 plus bonus. Botify also offers competitive time-off, wellness, and retirement benefits.
