Role Summary
As the Advertising and Paid Media Manager, you will lead the Enterprise Paid Media and Advertising Program—integrating strategy across teams, defining and placing media, and overseeing execution. You will develop digital-first programs spanning creative, messaging, social (paid and organic), and content distribution, while establishing clear measurement frameworks and demonstrating ROI. Collaboration in a matrixed environment and coordination with agencies and vendors are central to the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise paid media and advertising across digital and traditional channels to support awareness, thought leadership, and engagement goals.
- Develop and execute integrated, digital-first programs covering messaging, creative, social (paid and organic), and content distribution.
- Define measurement frameworks with KPIs; report on ROI and optimize performance throughout the funnel.
- Target federal government audiences with data-driven storytelling and contextual messaging across platforms and publications.
- Align with corporate and sector stakeholders; manage agencies and partners to deliver brand-aligned content for government and technology decision-makers.
- Oversee budgets, vendor compliance, content governance, project plans, and contracts to ensure on-time, on-target delivery.
- Mentor talent, prioritize workstreams, and foster growth within a collaborative, matrixed environment.
Ideal Profile
- 8+ years leading paid media strategy and execution across digital and traditional channels, with audience-centric, B2G-aligned campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and Reddit, using government-appropriate targeting approaches.
- Proven cross-functional alignment, stakeholder management, and collaboration in matrixed environments, including vendor/agency leadership.
- Expertise establishing KPI-driven frameworks and demonstrating ROI; strong performance optimization across the funnel.
- Experience managing teams and agencies; ability to tailor content for government and technology influencers and decision-makers.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Nice to have: B2G marketing to U.S. federal audiences and the tech community; full-funnel public sector experience (product marketing, capture support, brand-to-conversion).
- Nice to have: Analytics tools such as Power BI and Google Analytics; agility in high-pressure, fast-paced environments; strong organizational, leadership, time management, and relationship-building skills.
Compensation And Location
Job Type: Full-time. Location: McLean, VA (Washington Metro area). The projected compensation range is $86,800 to $198,000 (annualized USD). Salary is based on factors such as location, education, skills, experience, and contract-specific requirements.
