Company Overview
Role Summary
The eCommerce Manager owns the direct-to-consumer website roadmap on Shopify, managing the sprint cycle and development backlog, optimizing conversion, and ensuring accurate merchandising. You’ll oversee integrations, resolve technical issues, and unlock capabilities that enable analytics, omnichannel campaigns, audience management, personalization, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the relationship with the development agency; prioritize projects by business impact.
- Manage the DTC sprint cycle and backlog for continuous site improvements.
- Build and maintain a CRO testing roadmap to deliver a best-in-class experience.
- Gather business requirements; translate into technical specs; guide stakeholders through implementation.
- Oversee Shopify integrations and evaluate third-party tools aligned to objectives.
- Identify and resolve technical website issues in partnership with internal and external teams.
- Manage product uploads and on-site updates to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Expand digital marketing capabilities across analytics, omnichannel, audience, and personalization.
- Own DTC analytics and reporting via Shopify, Google Analytics, and Daasity.
- Ensure the site leverages modern technology to improve customer experience and conversion.
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years in eCommerce, digital operations, or website management; direct DTC experience (Shopify strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to manage development agencies and prioritize project roadmaps and sprints.
- Hands-on with CRO principles and testing program design and execution.
- Skilled at translating business and technical requirements across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with marketing technology integrations and evaluating third-party tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and collaborative approach to issue resolution.
- Proficient in Shopify, Google Analytics, and Daasity; able to translate data into action.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented communicator who can manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
Compensation, Benefits, and Location
- Base salary: $110,000–$130,000 USD; final compensation reflects experience and other factors.
- Bonus eligible.
- Benefits: medical, dental, vision; 401(k) with company match; parental and sick leave; paid vacation and holidays; additional perks per plan terms.
- Hybrid: commuting distance to NYC or Chicago Loop; in-office Tuesday–Thursday.
- Global collaboration across time zones; some flexibility in working hours.
