Role Summary
The Event Content Specialist supports end-to-end event programming and content marketing. You’ll coordinate speaker outreach, prep, and scheduling; draft promotional copy; provide live support for sessions; and collaborate across content, marketing, and sales to ensure on-time, high-quality execution before, during, and after major events. Expect experimentation and a dynamic pace.
- Drive speaker outreach: send invites, track responses, manage follow-ups, and schedule prep and intake calls.
- Craft social and email copy: draft announcements, promotional updates, and price-change communications in partnership with content and marketing teams.
- Support roundtables and X Spaces: join intake calls, coordinate logistics, and provide live support for virtual and in-person sessions.
- Coordinate marketing: post regularly on Twitter and LinkedIn, manage promo calendars, and assist with asset development for upcoming events.
- Research trends: curate industry news and voices to inform programming and identify emerging topics for the Blockworks audience.
- Collaborate with sales: research and build high-quality sponsor lead lists to support partnership opportunities.
- Execute onsite: help wrangle speakers, run green rooms, prep materials, and coordinate in real time at flagship events.
- Manage follow-up: send thank-you notes and gather materials to maintain strong post-event relationships.
Ideal Profile
- 1–3 years in a fast-paced, client-facing role with strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
- Active consumer of crypto or financial content; familiar with major players and conversations across social, podcasts, and newsletters.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, experimental environments; proactive and calm under pressure.
- Bonus: experience with live events or digital programming in crypto/finance; relationships with TradFi or crypto thought leaders; brand social copywriting; or supporting sponsorship efforts with sales.
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
- Compensation: $85,000/year (full-time, exempt).
