Role Summary
As Content Manager for Cash App Commerce, you will own and evolve a scalable sales pitch system and content library that equips demand generation, product marketing, and sales teams. You’ll transform product capabilities into merchant-centric messaging, craft mid-funnel narratives for retail decision-makers, and enable the field with modular, data-backed assets that drive acquisition, conversion, retention, and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, high-visibility content for merchant acquisition: pitch starters, intro decks, and modular elevator pitches.
- Shape messaging with demand gen and product marketing to reflect brand voice and merchant motivations across the funnel.
- Lead narrative updates to foundational and advanced sales materials: best-practice guides, email sequences, QBR templates, and objection handlers.
- Apply editorial and analytical rigor to mid-funnel content rooted in competitive benchmarks and merchant needs.
- Enable sales with tailored pitch assets—decks, UX/UI mocks, and storytelling for lighthouse opportunities—while maintaining a modular, consistent content library across verticals and motions.
- Build retention-focused content to highlight merchant impact, product ROI, and adoption use cases post-sale.
- Maintain core materials quarterly to reflect earnings, product updates, and competitive shifts.
- Own enablement sessions, delivering engaging walkthroughs of key narratives for sales and account teams.
- Proactively gather insights across product, data science, and campaign teams to feed a continuous content improvement loop.
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years crafting pitch or go-to-market materials for sales/account teams in fintech, SaaS, or mar/ad tech environments.
- Impeccable attention to detail and design aesthetic; adept at presentations and UX/UI visual narratives.
- Experience with Top 100 North American retail brands is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma strongly preferred.
- Able to think strategically while executing swiftly; committed to content that is both beautiful and functional.
Compensation, Benefits, and Location
Job Type: Remote. Listed location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Block uses a market-based approach with four U.S. pay zones; starting pay depends on skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Ranges may be modified over time.
- Zone A: $135,200–$202,800 USD
- Zone B: $125,800–$188,600 USD
- Zone C: $119,000–$178,400 USD
- Zone D: $108,200–$162,200 USD
