Associate Product Manager, BD (Salt Lake City, UT)
BD seeks an Associate Product Manager to help shape strategy and execution for a key product and/or market segment. This role blends product development support, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth and operational excellence in a global MedTech environment.

Role Summary
The Associate Product Manager supports both strategic and tactical initiatives for a global product or market segment. You will partner closely with R&D, sales, and marketing to build the development pipeline, translate market insights into actionable plans, and steward portfolio health through planning, forecasting, and performance tracking. The role includes hands-on participation in product teams and ownership of key elements of marketing execution and product line performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with R&D to build a portfolio of development projects aligned to strategy and growth targets.
- Cultivate relationships with key customers, distributors, and major buying groups.
- Lead or actively contribute to product development teams for assigned segments.
- Coordinate with domestic sales and global marketing (including international marketing teams).
- Identify, analyze, and communicate market trends to stakeholders and leadership.
- Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing plans (strategic and technical).
- Forecast sales volume (monthly and long-term) and monitor performance against plan.
- Administer budgets for promotions and expenses; steward P&L for the product line.
- Create marketing programs, sales tools, and promotional initiatives to drive adoption.
- Assist in preparing business plans and portfolio recommendations.
- Recommend product line modifications, extensions, new products, and deletions based on data.
Ideal Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of business experience; healthcare marketing experience preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral skills; strong learning agility.
- Collaboration: Able to build strong partnerships with R&D, Regulatory, and Quality; fosters inclusivity.
- Technical: Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentations, and word processing; general computer literacy.
- Travel: Up to 10%. Schedule may occasionally require work outside regular business hours in this global role.

Compensation And Location
- Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Primary work location: USA UT - Salt Lake City BAS).
- Base Salary Range (USD): $86,994–$149,520.
