Role Summary
As an Email & SMS Account Manager, you’ll own retention strategy and execution across 8–10 eCommerce accounts. You will lead client communication, craft on-brand campaign concepts, oversee QA, and translate performance metrics into actionable insights. The role blends strategy and hands-on work—building advanced flows, optimizing segmentation and testing, and guiding designers and copywriters to deliver conversion-focused creative. This is a full-time, remote position with EST hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client communication and retention strategy across a multi-account portfolio.
- Develop campaign concepts aligned to brand voice, goals, and customer journey stages.
- Build and optimize advanced email/SMS flows, calendars, segmentation, and A/B tests.
- Collaborate with designers and copywriters to deliver error-free, conversion-driven assets.
- Conduct ongoing audits to surface automation, segmentation, and testing opportunities.
- Translate CTR, CVR, RPR, and LTV into clear insights and recommendations for clients.
- Manage timelines and resources to meet deadlines without compromising quality or brand integrity.
- Ensure rigorous QA and cohesive brand alignment across email and SMS touchpoints.
- Stay current on retention trends and propose innovative, testable ideas to drive performance.
Ideal Profile (Required)
- 1+ years in eCommerce retention (email/SMS) with demonstrated strategy ownership.
- Ability to manage 8–10 client accounts and guide a small creative team with minimal oversight.
- Advanced experience with Klaviyo or comparable ESPs; strong campaign portfolio end-to-end.
- Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving and performance focus.
- Confident communicator who simplifies complex data and plans for stakeholders.
- Meticulous QA mindset—no typos, broken links, or off-brand creative.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced agency with high ownership and low micromanagement.
- Fluency in core eCommerce metrics (CAC, LTV, CVR, RPR) and retention levers.
- U.S. or Colombia-based; within ±3 hours of EST; available Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. EST.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Postscript, Attentive, or other SMS platforms.
- Familiarity with Notion, Slack, and project management tools.
