Astellas Pharmaceuticals is hiring a Digitiva Marketing Lead to build and scale marketing for DIGITIVA, a heart failure solution combining a medical device, patient app, and clinical services. This is a hands-on role in a regulated environment, owning the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution across patient and HCP audiences.

Role Summary

The Digitiva Marketing Lead is fully dedicated to a priority program within the Astellas Rx+ Business Accelerator. You will own strategy, execution, and optimization for all marketing activities supporting DIGITIVA across patient and HCP audiences—ensuring compliance, brand consistency, and alignment with commercial milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Marketing & Commercialization: Develop the product marketing strategy in partnership with program leadership; align to sales and commercial milestones; deliver campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Content & Communications: Lead creation of patient-facing and HCP collateral from concept through delivery; manage agencies; maintain brochures, website content, and messaging; coordinate press releases and media with corporate communications.
  • Events & Trade Shows: Own sponsorships, booth design, logistics, and registration; align event participation with program goals in collaboration with the Partnerships Lead.
  • Website Ownership: Manage content updates and brand consistency; coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for enhancements; track analytics to optimize engagement.
  • Compliance & Approvals: Serve as liaison with the Materials Approval Process (MAP) team; ensure all materials meet regulatory and legal requirements; maintain documentation and version control for assets.

Ideal Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years in healthcare, medical devices, med tech, digital health, and/or pharmaceuticals within regulated environments.
  • Strong project management; ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, approval processes, and trade show planning/budgeting.
  • Website management (WordPress, Drupal, or similar) and collaboration with developers/designers for enhancements.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strategic planning and hands-on creative execution; proven delivery from concept to launch.
  • Cross-functional experience with compliance, regulatory, sales, and medical affairs; excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; proficiency with PowerPoint and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cardiovascular devices or digital health solutions.
  • Storytelling and narrative design for novel or early-stage products with limited clinical data.
  • Background in startup or high-growth med tech environments.

Compensation And Benefits

Salary Range (USD): $110,000–$150,000. Final compensation may vary based on experience.
