Website Merchandising Coordinator (Remote) — Armstrong World Industries
Armstrong World Industries is hiring a Website Merchandising Coordinator to support day-to-day eCommerce operations, product merchandising, and site optimization. Reporting to the Senior Merchandising Manager and partnering closely with the Website Experience team, this role focuses on delivering an accurate, efficient, and customer-centric shopping experience as the business scales.

Role Summary
You will coordinate merchandising, catalog accuracy, and site operations across AWI’s eCommerce properties. The role blends analytical rigor with creative problem-solving to improve navigation, search, and conversion. You’ll collaborate with sales, operations, digital marketing, finance, and engineering to keep products, pricing, inventory, and promotions current and effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day eCommerce operations: merchandising, testing, maintenance, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain a rapidly expanding product catalog; add SKUs, validate data, and ensure consistency across touchpoints (including acquired catalogs).
- Onboard new inventory locations; monitor stock levels to support timely order fulfillment and smooth operations.
- Serve as liaison between Website Experience, Sales, and Operations; contribute to continuous improvement of the fulfillment process.
- Merchandise site collections, filters, and categories to enhance discoverability and conversion.
- Support marketplace integrations, bundles, upsells, promotions, exclusive offers, and special orders with cross-functional teams.
- Leverage analytics to improve search results, navigation, content placement, and the end-to-end customer experience.
- Partner with digital marketing and engineering to align site enhancements with strategic goals and campaign needs.
- Assist Finance with sitewide pricing updates and quarterly audits across B2C catalogs and marketplaces; manage QR codes, vanity links, and redirects.
- Help develop scalable processes and documentation to support ongoing eCommerce growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- eCommerce merchandising experience across B2B/B2C catalogs; comfortable handling large datasets with accuracy and speed.
- Hands-on Shopify skills (store setup, product management, optimization) and strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Analytical mindset; comfortable with web analytics and data formats like JSON to inform decisions and QA workflows.
- Clear communicator and team player; proactive, detail-oriented, and organized in fast-paced environments.
- Nice to have: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience; strong time management; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
This is a full-time, remote role with estimated base salary of $50,000–$67,000 USD per year. Actual pay varies by location, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Travel is under 10%; relocation is not offered. AWI offers a competitive package that includes:
