Role Summary

As a contract Product Marketing Specialist, you will support planning and execution of product and feature launches, refine messaging and positioning, equip revenue teams with enablement, and contribute to market research and content. You will report to the SVP of Product Marketing and work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure clear, consistent storytelling across channels. This is a six-month assignment with potential for extension or permanent hire.

Key Responsibilities

Go-To-Market Support

  • Support planning and execution of product and feature launches across priority channels.
  • Coordinate internal and external launch communications, sales enablement, and customer-facing messaging.
  • Align with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Demand Gen on goals, timing, and assets.

Messaging & Positioning

  • Refine messaging frameworks and product value propositions for target personas and use cases.
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear, differentiated benefits for business audiences.
  • Maintain competitive positioning and battlecards to support sales conversations.

Market & Customer Insights

  • Research market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics; synthesize findings for GTM plans.
  • Gather voice-of-customer insights to inform messaging, content, and campaign direction.
  • Analyze product usage data and feedback to optimize positioning and identify opportunities.

Content & Campaign Collaboration

  • Create collateral such as one-pagers, solution briefs, web copy, and sales decks in partnership with marketing stakeholders.
  • Provide product-focused input and messaging guidance for cross-channel campaigns.

Ideal Profile

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Strong communicator who can simplify technical concepts for business audiences.
  • Experience supporting product launches and go-to-market programs.
  • Familiarity with Finance, P2P, S2P, or enterprise automation software (a plus).
  • Self-starter with strong project management skills; comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and remote-friendly environment.

Compensation And Location

Compensation for this contract role ranges from $88,821 to $107,954 USD. The position is based in San Jose, CA, and is a six-month contract with potential for extension or permanent hire.
