Digital Media Specialist at All God’s Children International

All God’s Children International (AGCI) is hiring a Digital Media Specialist to lead social media strategy, content, and paid media across key channels and supporting accounts. This role blends creative production with data-driven optimization to share stories, support campaigns, and advance AGCI’s mission.

Role Summary

The Digital Media Specialist owns strategy and day-to-day management of AGCI’s social media presence, including AGCI and the Trauma Disrupter Coalition (TDC) accounts. You will plan and publish content, produce short-form video, manage paid campaigns, and collaborate with cross-functional partners and a Brand Ambassador program to ensure message alignment, brand consistency, and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy

  • Lead strategy for AGCI, TDC, and supporting accounts aligned to organizational goals and content calendar.
  • Develop messaging consistent with AGCI’s Christ-centered voice and mission themes.
  • Monitor platform and nonprofit trends; apply insights to test, optimize, and refresh content.

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Create platform-tailored content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), including Reels and short-form video.
  • Repurpose long-form footage into engaging short-form stories; ensure brand, tone, and voice consistency.
  • Edit and proof content for clarity and alignment; collaborate closely with creative partners.

Digital Advertising

  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across social, digital, and CTV to drive engagement and ROI.
  • Analyze performance, run A/B tests, and adjust targeting, formats, and messaging; collaborate on creative assets.
  • Use tools such as Feathr and partner with content, design, and analytics to align paid and organic strategies.

Community Engagement & Monitoring

  • Schedule posts, manage Stories, and respond to comments and messages in a timely, thoughtful manner.
  • Track monthly performance and refine editorial strategy based on audience insights and benchmarks.

Influencer & Brand Ambassador Coordination

  • Engage aligned ambassadors and creators; coordinate campaigns and measure impact to inform future partnerships.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management

  • Partner across teams; maintain task lists and timelines using tools like Asana and Later; support asset organization and archiving.

Performance Reporting

  • Own KPIs for follower growth, engagement, and shares; report monthly and inform cross-channel media plans.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, English, or Communications preferred) and 3+ years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination; experience in social media and copywriting preferred.
  • Strengths in mission-driven storytelling, short-form video editing, data-informed strategy, and community engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365; CMS and social scheduling (e.g., Later); email marketing; Adobe Creative Suite or Canva; familiarity with Asana or Trello.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills; sound judgment with confidential information; analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed; ability to meet physical and environmental demands of travel.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; successful background check; agreement to AGCI’s Statement of Faith.

Compensation, Benefits & Location

$60,000–$70,000 USD annually, depending on experience. Full-time, remote/telework-eligible role based in Portland, OR (with cross-team collaboration and occasional travel as needed).
