Partner Marketing Manager (Remote) — Affirm

Affirm is hiring a Partner Marketing Manager to lead co-marketing initiatives with merchant partners across North America. This role plans and executes cross-channel campaigns that drive GMV, new user acquisition, awareness, and long-term value—leveraging the Affirm marketplace as a performance engine while collaborating closely with Growth, Product, Brand, Creative, Legal, and Client Success teams.

Role Summary

You will own full-funnel co-marketing programs that span strategy, go-to-market planning, and execution across multiple media channels. The role combines partner development, performance marketing, affiliate strategy, and rigorous analytics. You’ll build strong relationships with merchants, advocate for their needs internally, and manage processes such as RFP responses, budget stewardship, calendars, and compliance—translating insights into scalable plans that meet shared business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute full-funnel co-marketing campaigns, from GTM to monthly strategy reviews.
  • Develop and deepen relationships with merchant partners to identify growth opportunities.
  • Use the Affirm marketplace to drive affiliate revenue and user acquisition for merchants.
  • Analyze campaign performance and share insights to improve adoption and optimize programs.
  • Serve as a merchant advocate; streamline processes and socialize learnings internally.
  • Manage inbound RFPs and craft tailored co-marketing plans for prospective partners.
  • Define targets aligned to acquisition, engagement, and loan takeup objectives.
  • Collaborate with media agency, Growth, and Brand to build performant media plans and content.
  • Maintain partner marketing budgets, a comprehensive co-marketing calendar, and compliance submissions.
  • Develop vertical-specific strategies using industry research to meet business goals.

Ideal Profile

  • 7+ years in partner, performance, affiliate, or product marketing.
  • Track record co-developing and launching programs across multiple media channels.
  • Fluency with CPA, CPC, CPL, and CPM models and affiliate tracking platforms/tools.
  • Analytical and data-oriented; adept at continuous optimization for performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills to work cross-functionally at speed and scale.
  • Self-starter who shares knowledge and best practices with partners and peers.
  • Strong understanding of paid media strategy, planning, and measurement; creative testing experience.
  • Background in online retail, merchandising, and customer acquisition; online and in-store expertise.
  • North America experience (U.S. and Canada) preferred; category experience in home, fitness, electronics, or fashion is a plus.

Compensation, Benefits, and Location

  • USA base pay (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT): $160,000–$210,000; all other U.S. states: $142,000–$192,000. Employees new to Affirm typically start at the beginning of the range.
  • Base Pay Grade: L; Equity Grade: 6; compensation may include equity and monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech, plus comprehensive benefits.

  • Remote-first within country of employment; some roles may require occasional office presence based on responsibilities.
