Role Summary

As an Associate Manager, Paid Search (Contract), you’ll develop and optimize campaigns across major search platforms, run day-to-day reporting and QA, and collaborate with teammates and clients to translate performance into clear recommendations. The role is remote, hourly, and expected to run 3–6 months. You’ll be hands-on with ad copy, keywords, bids, and testing to drive efficient, outcomes-focused results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop search assets, including ad copy, keywords, and bid strategies.
  • Implement performance-driven campaign strategies and optimizations for clients.
  • Analyze conversion rates, CPCs, CTRs, impression share, and query trends.
  • Conduct keyword and ad copy research to inform testing and scaling plans.
  • Monitor program performance against goals and proactively address gaps.
  • Own day-to-day reporting, analytics, and data insights for paid search.
  • Execute full QA processes to ensure accuracy and platform compliance.
  • Communicate results, strategy, issues, and needs with the search team and clients.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of digital marketing experience.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; client-facing poise a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently when needed.
  • Comfort collaborating in a team; “one team” mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively.
