Lead the digital experience for people managing diabetes. Abbott’s Diabetes Care division is hiring a Group Product Manager to set vision for the Libre app platform, drive consumer engagement, and align global teams around a clear, data-driven roadmap with measurable impact.

Role Summary
Based in Alameda, CA, this full-time leader owns the strategic direction, long-term roadmap, and performance of Abbott’s digital platform for diabetes management, centered on the Libre app. The Group Product Manager drives innovation, consumer adoption and retention, and commercial impact while coordinating engineering, design, regulatory, clinical, marketing, and regional teams for successful global execution and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the multi-year platform strategy and prioritized roadmap.
- Lead consumer-focused positioning and go-to-market to increase engagement and retention.
- Analyze global trends, consumer behavior, regulations, and competition to identify growth opportunities.
- Translate insights and analytics into capabilities that improve user experience and outcomes.
- Partner across engineering, design, clinical, regulatory, sales, marketing, and support to deliver initiatives.
- Set, monitor, and report platform KPIs; drive continuous optimization and performance improvements.
- Oversee advertising, promotion, and communications aligned with platform strategy.
- Present strategy and performance to senior leaders; influence cross-functional decisions and investments.
- Mentor product managers and cultivate a high standard of product excellence.
- Own business results for adoption, engagement, and revenue targets for the platform.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience with proven program delivery across scope, time, and budget.
- Demonstrated influence and leadership in cross-functional environments.
- Strong executive communication; able to craft compelling, data-led narratives.
- Hands-on digital product background, ideally with app-based consumer products.
- Analytical and insights-driven; comfortable managing complex information and trends.
- Thrives under pressure; excels at prioritization and time management across initiatives.
- Experience delivering digital products in regulated environments.
- Financial acumen: program budgets, purchase orders, and vendor scopes of work.
Compensation And Location
This is a full-time role based in Alameda, CA. The base pay range is $146,700–$293,300 USD and may vary by location. Abbott offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support career growth, health, and financial wellbeing.
